Visual Storytelling Through Illustration, Motion, and Conceptual Design
I`m Anna Koudelova, an illustrator and motion designer based in Prague, working across illustration, visual storytelling, branding, and motion design for brands, publishers and creative projects.
My work combines digital and handcrafted artistic techniques with strategic visual communication - creating imagery that is emotionally engaging, conceptually strong and commercially adaptable across print, digital and motion formats.
Over the years I have collaborated on projects ranging from editorial illustration and storyboards to branded campaigns, animation support, packaging visuals, and character design. My approach is rooted in storytelling, atmosphere and creating visuals that communicate clearly while maintaining a distinct artistic identity.
I studied at Charles University in Prague at the Faculty of Humanities, with focus on the semiotics of advertising and visual communication. This academic background continues to shape how i think about imagery - not only as decoration, but as a tool for creating meaning and emotional connection.
Before that i studied traditional graphic techniques at Střední umělecká škola designu, s.r.o. in Prague, where I developed a strong foundation in drawing, printmaking, composition and analog artistic processes.
I collaborate with companies, publishers, cultural institutions, and independent brands looking for thougtful, visually distinctive communication with strong narrative character.
